167: It’s Just Feedback. Don’t Make It Mean More Than That

So many times we attach a negative meaning to situations, circumstances and feelings. This causes unnecessary suffering and more often than not, being in a standoff with ourselves. Unable to move forward.

And it’s not just in that moment. It’s pervasive. That moment of meaning gets transposed on everything and before you know it, you’re doing from that level of defeat, frustration, and mixed meaning.

You’re not being intentional.

You’re not choosing.

In fact, you’re just going through the motions.

What if the genesis of this lazy state of being was in your definition of your circumstances.

And what if… just what if… you could change that. Would you commit to what needed to be done to consistently stand watch?

To monitor your thoughts or feelings to start to shift into a desired state instead of a painful one.

To intentionally craft what you want to experience and faithfully follow through on the execution of a plan even if fear and uncertainty come up?

Because it will.

What if you looked at life as feedback. Information that you used to shape your next move IN THE DIRECTION OF WHAT YOU WANT. In the direction of your dreams and goals.

You see, meaning shapes motion.

It can stop us dead in our tracks or give us the necessary information to adjust and act accordingly.

You can assign whatever meaning you want to something. You can use meanings to confirm you insufficiencies or you can use meanings to pave the path to your dream.

It’s totally up to you.

When you train this muscle of perception the right way it’s as if you become a solution machine. And not just from logic. What used to stop you dead in your tracks is now an opportunity to become more. And you’ll start to see that there is opportunity present all around you. You’ll even start to wonder how you didn’t see it right in front of you all along.
